There are a bazillion threads on this subject on FChat.    Basically you need 
to degree your cams to check for accuracy if you feel they are off.   There are 
some great threads written about this process.   
The general concensus is that the marks are 'reference only' marks and should 
not be trusted until verified.

Has anyone ever experienced the cam timing marks on a ferrari engine being
inaccurate? If so, was it because they weren't the original heads or cams,
