with CIS injectors with just the O ring, I find I can pull them out by
hand.  Be sure not to pull or put pressure on the fuel lines.  They're not
that hard to pull, unless the O ring is really dry, which they often are if
old.  Even then, I don't think you would have a problem.  Put a towel or
something around the nut bit if you find it digs into your fingers.  The O
ring is a classic place for an old CIS system to leak air too.
