Since someone brought it up, how about these: Ferrari 250 Europa s/n 0313EU (one of 3 Vignale-bodied coupes) M-B 300SL (ok, ordered, but never took delivery - still kicking himself!) Jag XK-120 roadster (bought when his friend traded an SE model for a 300SL, but Dad couldn't afford the SE, so he bought a "standard" 120 roadster - he now owns a '54 120SE) M-B 190SL *Very* early MGA 2 different Aston Martin DB2's *very* early 4.2L E-Type (he has another now) and probably a few other cats and dogs that I'm forgetting. But the Ferrari is the crown jewel of all the cars he's owned. At the height of the market, in the late 80's, it would have been worth well into 7 figures.... Oh well! gp - (who can only afford a 1/43 250 Europa - and even that, just barely!) _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® goes where you go.
