Could of his cars had the Coventry Climax engines. With modern rebuilds, they were winding those little suckers up to 9000 rpm!! From what I've read of those engines, they had pretty humble beginnings, first being developed as a little farm work engine, mostly used to pump water way back. You've come a long way baby. hee hee.
