Drove the new 7 on Friday. Hated it. Like driving a poorly calibrated
video game. Both BMW and Benz are still living on past impressions.
Their cars aren't that good. Everyone has built in planned obsolecense
now, they want the car to completely fall apart the day after the
warranty expires so that you go out and buy a new one.  Image is
nothing for those that have travelled. Benz makes taxis and the
impression in Europe is no one lusts after a BMW, even my German
coworkers would prefer their bikes to their cars.
