We should try to avoid political rants here but the theme of this thread involves our cars. That makes it serious. That makes it personal. I am a life-long cynic. Everything we see and everything we hear from government and from the media is stage managed. The ignorant masses decide the fate of politicians, therefore, they are the ones who must be controlled. This leads me to my bottom line. It is not truth that hurts us. It is perception that is dangerous - and perception is what the media manipulates. A friend of mine who was an army captain in the Green Zone says it best, "Perception left unchecked, becomes reality." It is our job to 'check' the perception. rick --- On Tue, 5/19/09, philville dejazzd.com <philville [at] dejazzd.com> wrote: > From: philville dejazzd.com <philville [at] dejazzd.com> > Subject: Re: [Ferrari] NFC Say goodbye to your SUV's : BO just made them > extinct > To: "rolindsay" <rolindsay [at] yahoo.com> > Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> > Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 7:50 PM > I think that on this list alone there is enough creative > talent to > build a better mouse trap...... > bigger, better faster handles like a great car should > and even > stopss shorter.and, with fuel economy that will make you > stop and > wonder why it took so long...... > > As they say think outside of the cylinder............ > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Rick <Forza355 [at] verizon.net> > Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2009 8:46 pm > Subject: Re: [Ferrari] NFC Say goodbye to your SUV's > : BO just made > them extinct > To: Phil Tegtmeier <philville [at] dejazzd.com> > Cc: The FerrariList <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> > > We have had the General Motors EV1 Electric car as > a New > > technology that > > everyone was supposed to go gaga over an buy > instead of a > > gas car.
