The film that has cost me thousands of my hard earned dollars and finally
propelled me into my present Ferrari, after owning at least one, if not two
Jaguars, Austin Healeys, Porsches, Lancia Scorpions, among various others,
was?the movie?that I?saw as a youth?in 1955.

'THE RACERS,' Staring Kirk Douglas, Gilbert Rowland,?and Bella Darvi. It got me
hooked worse than a strung-out junkie on skid row, and I've never been the same
since.?

A decade later, the Her-Ex had a box at the Plaza de Toros in Tijuana and
Douglas, Rowland, and some other Hollywood thrill-seekers had the adjoining
box. Of course they brought some young 'starlets' down with them to help enjoy
the spectacle.

After mucho cervezas and a few shots, the lovely senoritas would loosen up a
but, and if the young matador was handsome enough, the ring would be flooded
with panties after a good kill.

Ever the Latin gentleman, el matador would pick each one up, and after the
normal sniff, throw?it back to it's owner with a big grin on his face.?Of
course some would hit our box too. <g>

Ach, the memories . . .

Yer pal (living the good life at the beach in Huntington Harbour) Ferrari Bubba
