Never realized that. Seems like R&T did a piece on it back in the 60s - I guess that's when it was built? and it just didn't grab my attention. They did show the engine compartment during the recent TV program - - typical V12 with 6 Webers. Absolutely beautiful!

Ther Breadvan was built on a 250SWB chassis and running gear for Count Volpi to whom Enzo Ferrari refused to sell a 250 GTO when he hired some engineers (Drogo and Bizzarini) that Enzo had fired. In many technical ways (particularly the engine placement in the chassis) the Breadvan is similar to the GTO (on which both those engineers had worked) and was and is an extremely quick car. It may look a bit strange but this was some serious racer.
