It's worse up here in TN. The mountain folk are incapable of staying between 
the painted lines. Shoulders are popular as well as the dreaded two-lane 
straddle. 

Worst of all, if you are trying to turn left behind someone with Tennessee 
plates. They will not turn left unless the oncoming lane is clear for as far as 
you can see, and the green arrow is lit, and the planets are in alignment. 
Bring your knitting....

Houston traffic is intense, you get rear-ended for going less than 85 in a 70 
MPH zone. The corollary is the wrost of the drivers don't survive. Darwin rides 
the freeways.
