Amen! IMHO, All the stuff that *seemingly* makes it easier for the driver to concentrate and *drive*, but, in the reality of unintended consequences, actually means many drivers will use the new found freedom to do other things *besides* concentrate on driving. So accidents will be worse and more often as people are sold MBs with radar to detect a car in front becoming too close and hit the brakes without any driver action. So they read their newspaper and eat their cereal while the radar does the braking. ;-)

So, I'm torn between liking what technology can do Vs. seeing how lazy, stupid people will abuse it.

What do ya'll think? Is there a fine line we're walking?

All the technology in the world will do little to protect us from
those who just don't get it, ....driving is a means to an end....start
here go there......I still want to drive a car that demands that I do
at least some of the thinking and reacting....
