PS:  I guess I liked Florence the least.  Dirty, and the only place in

Italy where I didn't always feel safe.  Expensive.  Full of non-Italian

ethnic groups that don't like Americans that well, if you get my drift.

BTW, if you search out waaaay out of the way little piazzas in Venice,

you will find great food at very reasonable prices.  We found a little

piazza that wasn't more than a 6 iron away from the Grand Canal, but

the route to get there was very convoluted.  There were a pair of old

men arguing on a park bench, a couple of ladies with strollers chatting,

and a few kids kicking around a soccer ball.  We sat outside of a

little osteria for several hours drinking and eating, and only saw maybe

a half dozen tourists pass thru.  It was a whole different world......

We are arriving in Milan (Contential, sorry Clyde) on the 20th. Plan to drive to Monaco and Pisa b4 the 25TH and coming back 29th of May.
