We are not big gamblers, my wife keeps saying when we win the lottery, I remind her we have to buy a lottery ticket first.
I will keep a lookout for the waterfront restaurant in Monoco.
Thanks for the tips.

Venice ? not so great(dirty, underwater half the time, ok food at best)

Florence ? spend your extra Venice time here J  wonderful city full of life and vitality

Pisa ? go take your tower photo and get back on the train, not much elese

Then??. Spend as much time as you can in the Cinque Terre region (we particularily like Rio Maggiore and Vernaza)

Maranello ? Montana?s is the new restaurant of choice for F1 drivers(as of our factory visit in 2003), go find a local taxi driver to take you up to some of the hillside cafes!

Monaco ? best meal we have ever eaten - starting with bread/appetizers through desert ? everything was perfect!  On the waterfront third restaurant down(as I remember), the Casino costs at least $50 just to enter, thus we bailed since we are not big gamblers.

OK those would be fun too...

Other than the Monaco GP, Monaco is pretty mediocre I think.  Go a bit further or not as far and check out St. Tropez, Eze, Cannes, or Antibes.  If you go to Antibes, I can send you a list of some of the best restaurants :)  Used to have a team that reported to me in Nice, and spent a lot of time there back in the day.

If you are going to go to Pisa, do yourself a favor and Spend a night or two in Florence (Firenze) on the Fornio if you can.  Tons of sights to see, fantastic food (if you go to the hole in the wall places).

BR,
Mike
