Yeah but wouldn't you be better off just doing the standard heel and toe there with the clutch action missing?

Well Steve is stuck with the 355 F1 so if you were stuck with one too that would be his advice ;-)

I mean that's what I did with it, but I still thought it was pretty clunky...

SMG:  My brother in law had an SMG M3, the same time I had a 6 spd one.  No question the 6spd was the better car, the SMG was mediocre for spirited driving, and downright awful for daily driving.

The DSG and PDK were both flawless in their shift actions.  If you want a fast shifting slushbox I'd go with either one, they are great.  But of course I didn't and wouldn't unless I lost my left leg.

The performance of the dual clutch is unparalleled, but people are complaining it's too smooth compared to the standard single clutch manumatics!

It doesn't seem to bother you given that you're a stickshift guy...so now I'm confused. :)

On some level guys, we gotta "get into" this manumatic trend because it seems like the stickshift will be extinct sooner than we think. :-(

At least we'll be left with, like someone said, historic cars.
