Clyde postulates - âif you want to know what a true price of any car is price that car to a dealer over the phoneâ Does that mean you pretend to have THE car you wish to buy and ask the dealership for a trade in price? Flash back to 1979âs. I knew a guy who was kicking tires about buying a used domestic car from a dealership he knew who allowed him to drive the around a bit. He took it to another Chevy dealership and asked how much theyâd give him on it. Surprise surprise â best PPI ever and for free. This was some time ago why before computers tracked VIN repairs. I forget the outcome â hell, it coulda been a story but it was entertaining. DOUG |
