You know Erik, the Mondial is one of the most underrated Ferraris made. They drive beautifully. No, not massively powerful but the K-Jetronic FI is rock solid and drivability, even from cold, is excellent. Yes, I prefer my 308GTB but for jump-in-and-go, the Mondial wins.

I didn't put expensive rubber on the car when I owned it. I just picked the cheapest, most sticky, quiet performance tires TireRack offered at the time. BFGoodrich I believe. Still, I reach my limit before the car reaches its limit.

I also have the superformance wheels on my Mondial 8, even for a Clyde
shitbox, it transformed the handling with modern Michelin rubber.  My 308
GTS QV has the original stock 16" wheels.
