An LS can make 550-600bhp and is much smaller and lighter than a Porsche 911 flat 6.

Handling would improve with a 7.0 liter LS in the back!

Actually, the Small Block Chevy was ~550lbs.
It's the new LS series that weighs in around 400lbs.
