Uh, Rob - - - the, uh, second bolt of the four horizontal fasteners, the one’s just to the left of the shift rod, is, um a bit low.  Maybe ½ a mm?

No need to thank me – just doing my job.

(of course just ribbing you Rob – you’re wonderful pictures are a hall mark of your precise work.  I can see the movie now - - “On the road to Platinum with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.”

I was noticing the new 911 GT3 has the shifter on the console, activated exactly the same as a sequential manual box (naturally).

Made me think if that motion as opposed to steering wheel paddles could make the experience feel more connected?. I know one wouldn't drive this way, but if you treated that PDK like it was a sequential manual with lift offs, it would probably feel the same way driving it!

Just an observation. I prefer it over paddles, and my gut is rarely wrong with this stuff.

What do you guys think?

ps - I see the paddles still exist.
