Sequential shifter on the Hewland with straight cut gears!!!   Just use the (tiny) clutch for starting and stopping.  Most fun you can have with your clothes on!!   Noisy!  Hell yeah!   You're still shifting Rob, there's just no pattern...just bangin' gears!

I was noticing the new 911 GT3 has the shifter on the console, activated exactly the same as a sequential manual box (naturally).

Made me think if that motion as opposed to steering wheel paddles could make the experience feel more connected?. I know one wouldn't drive this way, but if you treated that PDK like it was a sequential manual with lift offs, it would probably feel the same way driving it!

Just an observation. I prefer it over paddles, and my gut is rarely wrong with this stuff.

What do you guys think?

ps - I see the paddles still exist.
