Gavin, It is not online and all he said was that they were not well received! but their guide an Cavalinos both put the gt4 from $20-30K tops I even emailed the editor which is a good guy and since they did an article on my car he always writes back and I know he likes GT4s as they have an article on one about ever 3 issues! HA I think it is a conspiracy to keep the price low so that people like me can still afford them….. OK that seem fair. For those not watching the thread on fchat here is my car in progress which Brian on this list is crucially involved with! They still have one left a beautiful light blue if anyone would like the perfect Ferrari! Rob ![]() Robert W. Spotted this today.....
1978 308GTB sold at auction in France last week for an eye watering $202,640 Euro... or $226,000USD inculding all fees and taxes. I thought it MUST have been a factory rally car with race history but no... it's a bog standard blue GTB that has been repainted even and has paper work for life and one (not famous) owner.... I am amazed! Auction results here... http://www.artcurial.com/en/asp/results.asp Auction catalog with pictures here... page 117. http://issuu.com/artcurialbpt/docs/2769?e=6268161/12789934 I have been saying for years that this was going to happen to this model when the Magnum PI generation came into serious money. There are a lot of us out their and their wealth is growing all the time. This is the extreme end at the moment but I think time will prove me right on this one. The good cars will get very good money in time. regards Gavin New Zealand 1978 308GTB, red/tan dry sump full euro spec RHD car, air cond, tool kit and original jack, resprayed once... ok with 100 thousand kms on the clock! :) _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/rgarven%40gmail.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/rgarven%40gmail.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ |
