That's easy Brian - at the yearly inspection, there is a certified 4 x 4 by
4 feet long.  The tech hits the front of the cars deformable bumper.  If the
air bag goes off it was good, a check mark is made in the "good" column and
you pass.  Oh, um, please get that air bag fixed before we give you your
inspection sticker.  NEXT

Say hello to Big Brother.  Here is my question - since most all
manufacturers recommend that airbags are changed every 10 years, and NOBODY
does that, how does anyone even know their airbag functions on cars older
than 2006?


And if you keep your factory steering wheel with no airbag in it, who is
going to know?
