In 1986 we just back from European delivery our Porsche 944 Turbo and saw the for the 1st time in person ( we live in rural KS ) Ferrari 308 GTS. We parked beside it and got out, looking at them both and said ' Kind of make our Porsche look like a frog doesn't it'. She was right.

Picture this – Porsche and Ferrari are on the same continuum but at opposite ends.

Porsche’s rules are “ve are going to build the best engineered car effer* und dis is how it looks – take it or leaff it.”

Ferrari ‘s edict “we are going to build the most bitchenist looking vehicle ever - - now where do we put the driver, the gas tank, the spare tire?”
