Another alternative is to replace with EFI. My 328 motor has rails and injectors from a 348. Injector spacing is identical and the capacity and duty cycle of the 348 injectors are more than adequate for an otherwise stock 328. Add a decent high pressure fuel pump, a couple of sensors here and there and a MoTec to control it all and it works like a charm.

Have a local client with a 1985 Mondial coupe that hasn't run in 12-14 years.  Says when he purchased it he knew it needed a clutch slave cylinder, a major service and possibly has injection issues.  Spoke to my local shop and they said that because many Bosch injection systems are not rebuildable and parts not available that they don't want to mess with it.  Two questions for you guys ... maybe 3.

1.  Is this Bosch system rebuildable, if so who does this?

2.  Any recommendation for a shop in the Midwest (Nashville, Indy, St Louis, Louisville etc) that would be recommended to work on this car?  I know of a shop in Louisville and Detroit but didn't know if there were other recommendations from the list.

3.  This is basically a 308 - if the Bosch system isn't serviceable how hard is it to convert to carbs?
