I still watch.  

Still root for the red - even if it is a funky red. 

I find the competition muted.  So often the past few years it is a run away up front.  

Gone from liking Hammy, to finding him a punk, to a begrudging respect.  I’d probably like him better in a red car.  I generally find his attitude as annoying as Whine Pinball.  It’s all him when he wins but he is quick to find fault and articulate blame. 

If I were king we’d go back to you can think of it you can use it.  Made for much more excitement and better technology.  With all the rules, it’s practically Indy car. 

But I watch.  And cheer. And, lately, bitch and complain

Haven’t been able to watch full Formula E qually or race as the time usually goes beyond what I set to record.  Add more time on my part and somehow they take a longer red flag.

Interesting to hear Steve Matchetts' technical pieces but to only hear him at commercial breaks is sad. Also street circuits, limited passing.

Indy car is the most competitive I believe. Go Alexander Rossi!

This is just a phase in F-1 much like all the other ones the sport has gone thru.

The bigger issue is whether the fan base can withstand all of this.

Guys like myself who have been F-1 fans since the 60’s we aren’t going away.
