Surely you must’ve seen the molds for the carbon tub and panels on that tour. Have the molds, keep truckin’ on.

Really, what would stop a “manufacturer” from just carrying on production and claim/state that they’re ’95 cars?

Isn’t that how these continuation cars like the D and E-Types are getting by?

Peter

In 2007 (or maybe 2008...) I was at what was left of the Italian EB110
factory, now known as B Engineering.  The big buildings you see in the
video were on the other side of the Autostrada.  We were in a small
industrial park.  Inside they were servicing and/or rebuilding EB100s,
with a couple of motors tore apart on engine stands.

They casually mentioned that they could build more.  ?????  A guy I
was with was intrigued and started asking questions.  Seems they have
a lot of spares, and can make whatever they are missing.  Emissions?
Safety tests?  They said, "No problem.  We will use a serial number
from 1995."  Then they opened a garage door and showed us what would
later be known as the Edonis, but it was not quite finished.  However,
the car they offered to build was the EB110.

They had 2 "new" EB110s sitting there.  I tried and tried to get in
one, but it seemed to be tailored for someone wearing a small Italian
suit.  Just couldn't fit.  It was like the time I tried to get into an
Elise.  No go.

Hans.
