Oh, and as a PS:

I keep a spare phone in my overnight bag in case something goes
haywire with my regular phone.  It isn't capable of placing calls over
cell, as I don't have a cell carrier for it.  But Republic Wireless
maintains the separate phone number for it for $5/mo so I can use it
over wifi.
