Agreed, and 150 was prolific and probably the most used trainer, ever.
But...
how old is it? (hint, at least 47 years)
is the annual current?

even so, lots of SPOF.

Does it have a WARP?
(look up BRSaerospace)
If so, you can cut your concerns in half.

Don't get me wrong...
I learned in a Cessna 180
I flew a T-28 in flight school
Had a blast learning.  (I was young, numb, dumb and bulletproof)
Haven't been back in a single, piston engine plane since.
I've refused rides in Robinson Helicopters as well.
(Saw 3 friends die 10 minutes after I said no)

Your concerns are NOT unfounded.  You're just being a good dad.

If you have no enemies
You have no character !

Scars are tattoos with better stories!
When you're out of F-4's you're out of fighters!

My kid keeps going up with a friend in the friend's Cessna 150.  The guy is young and healthy and instrument rated.  I don't like it.  How concerned should I be?
