One helpful hint here, make sure that your GPS is set to mph and not in knots. Most GPS receivers come defaulted in knots, check the units in setup. 1mph = .86897 knots Dave (the GPS engineer) Craig (who happens to have a Mondial that reads speed low, 85mph indicated = very close to 100mph actual) -----Original Message----- From: CWhite7449 [at] aol.com [mailto:CWhite7449 [at] aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2006 2:51 PM To: Dave Craig Cc: The FerrariList Subject: Re: [Ferrari] some F355 questions In a message dated 8/29/2006 2:47:51 PM Central Standard Time, BigHeadDennis [at] earthlink.net writes: Yup, that's exactly what I'm saying. When your speedo reads 100 mph, you're lucky to be going 90 mph (actual), more likely to be in the upper 80s. Any of you with a handheld GPS device can check it out, or else just use a decent watch and time the mileage markers. Vty, Ferrari 355 at 70mph is actually about 63mph.
