That may be, Jim.. but realize that all of the DirecTV TiVo units are being obsoleted by their lack of capability to decode MPEG4 encoded HD transmissions.
In fact, all of the previous generation DirecTV "MPEG2 only" HD receivers (DVR or not) are headed for the scrap heap over the next few years.
