As long as you are future planning a "major service", I highly recommend
replacing ALL the hoses you can find.  I have an 85 308, and in '97 while
in the middle of a tuning session, from all the steam, I thought the
engine exploded - turns out the factory hose blew a hole right near the
intake next to the tunnel.  Right then and there, I decided to replace
every old hose with new Gates green/gold stripe and have been a happy
camper since.  Of course, as you get the car apart, you will find other
small maintenance items to replace, but at the end of the odyssey you will
have a sound car that YOU know was correctly maintained.
