You are correct. It was the spring rates and bushings that were revised in 2003.... It's interesting to see how profit margins shape the content of a high volume car like the GT500 versus a Gallardo or F430.

All Cobras got ind rear susp in 1999 and do to this day.

The GT500 has a live axle with a Panhard rod and third link to control
pinion angle. It's setup very well, nobody on this list will ever know the
difference.

There are pros and cons of ind vs. live axle. Ind is superior but a
*properly* setup live axle can be quite good too.
