Any documentation I can point to for AAA helping pay my ticker lawyer fees?

It is a little known fact, that if you hire an attorney to fight a ticket
and win, AAA will pay some or all of the legal fees to defend the ticket
assuming that you are a member in good standing, and the ticket is actually
dismissed.

I recently fought a speeding ticket (51 in a 35, don't ask) which I thought
I didn't have a chance of winning. With the help of an attorney I got it
dismissed. The one thing going in my favor, was although I had a long
history (which the police officer had at the hearing) of speeding tickets my
last ticket was close to 10 years ago.

The fine ($160.00) was not the issue, it was the points that I was trying to
avoid.

Oh, and BTW ... I did have a problem with my V1 when it was just over 1 year
old (just out of warranty). In my case it was not picking up signals from
the front or back (forget which). Sent it back for repair and updating. I
think it cost about 70.00 or so. No problems since, and yes it did go off
when I got nailed.

Be careful out there, it is open season on speeders :-)

Wouldn't it be great if they offered to fight the tickets, rather than pay
for them. Well, one can dream. :-)
