When I lived in France, I noticed that they didn't even badge the 914 as a
Porsche. Yep - it's badged as a VW. :)

I am sure back in the days of production of both cars the performance levels

were quite comparable. I have had both cars although the 914-6 was a (can I 
use a musclecar word here?) "clone". Both cars were real drivers cars in 
that there's nothing there. The dino did have power windows and so called 
A/C though.
