Does it have a usb port anywhere? if yes, you may be able to hook up to a
laptop
or something - won't hurt to try -
It might take a litle whie depending on the software you use - Nero, etc - but recording a 1 hr show usually takes more than an hour -

Subject: [Ferrari] NFC: Tivo questions
Dear List,
We have Cox cable TV, Internet, and phone bundle. The last 2 days my DVR box died, although the one downstairs in the great room is okay. Tech came, installed new DVR box from Motorola so I can again watch cable, Tivo things, etc. Which leads to these questions.
I had shows recorded that I lost, as the old box went "bye-bye". Is there any way to hook up a burner to the DVR so I can transfer Tivoed shows to a disk? Also, is there a way to print a picture or a screen print? For example, I'll be watching, say, a bike race or Burn Notice, whatever, and pause the picture...is there any way I can print that? Would Geek Squad or any such entity be able to assist me in these matters? The Tech guy I talked with at Cox who replaced the box said that right now the technology just isn't there now to transfer saved shows from one hard drive to the other in less than around 3 hours, just not something they (Cox) can do right now.
??? Thanks to all, Tom Reynolds Tulsa, OK _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/l02turner%40comcast.net
