IF your old TIVO has only lost receive ability and IF it is series 2 TIVO, you 
can use the USB port to access the HD.  TIVO uses a Linux OS and Pentium MB but 
earilier ones (like mine) don't have the USB port.   Get detailed information 
from WEAKKNEES.com, who are the guru's of TIVO.  Go there with your model # to 
learn if you have the proper model for downloading.
