Either you don't have a TiVo or else you haven't read your instructions.
1) As someone else mentioned, you can burn directly from your video out jacks on the recorder. 2) A Series 2 or newer TiVo will transfer shows from one machine to another and also to a PC. And, no, it doesn't take 3 hours. When on the PC, you can easily burn to DVD. 3) If you look around (perhaps weakees.com), you can find TiVo machines with built in DVD burner.

it's not a tape or a disk. I don't see the name Tivo on it, but if it looks

We have Cox cable TV, Internet, and phone bundle. The last 2 daysTechDVR box died, although the one downstairs in the great room is okay.Tivocame, installed new DVR box from Motorola so I can again watch cable,Isthings, etc. Which leads to these questions.
I had shows recorded that I lost, as the old box went "bye- bye".showsthere any way to hook up a burner to the DVR so I can transfer TivoedForto a disk? Also, is there a way to print a picture or a screen print?andexample, I'll be watching, say, a bike race or Burn Notice, whatever, orpause the picture...is there any way I can print that? Would Geek Squadtechnologyany such entity be able to assist me in these matters? The Tech guy I
talked with at Cox who replaced the box said that right now thehttp://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/ferrari308driver%40gmail.comjust isn't there now to transfer saved shows from one hard drive to the
other in less than around 3 hours, just not something they (Cox) can do
right now.
