Hey Stevie: Ach, the old Can Am days at Laguna Seca. The only mistake?that Doug 
and I ?made up there was not robbing that bank in Watsonville, 'Artichoke 
Capital of the World' on the weay back to L.A.?And we were in the pits at 
Stardust too when poor Jim Hall earnrd his Pilots Wings. I remember his (then) 
wife, Sandy, crawling into the medi-vac chopper with him on the way to the 
'Vegas hospital. Lother (the other car) wore a neck brace for a year after that.

How poor were Doug and I then? So poor that we had to share a single room 
with?a couple of other people?that weekend! <g>

I remember being the pits at Riverside, the short lived Ontario, Stardust 
when Jim Hall checked his mirror and ran into back of another car sending 
him flying and a spectator removed him from what was left of his car. Willow 
springs. Yes it was better for the fans back then. Then BIG MONEY and Safety 
got involved.
When you get the TIME MACHINE working I want to correct a mistake I made in 
1989
at Laguna Seca :-)
