They may know what they're doing on a track, but IMO if they don't pretty 
dramatically alter their driving -- and not just speed -- on public roads 
they're idiots.  It's one thing to get the rhythm of a track -- and most I've 
been on are REALLY smooth compared to normal roads (forget about the potholes, 
or even seams, in my neck of the woods in Philly) -- and pretty much nail the 
braking points, apexes, etc. consistently after a while.  It's almost suicidal 
to try to emulate that on public roads.
