Wow! That must make an awesome sports car! A REAL sports car! While I love the Porsche engines, there's something about an American V8 with it's great burble really gets the blood pumping! The 944 was such a great car for carving up all the cool roads with more curves than anything else - and while the 944 (esp the 944T) engine had plenty of "get and go" we all want more power!

Hmmm... that's a very cool modificaton.  How many has he done?

A local mechanic has been stuffing late model Corvette V8s
into 944s.  Fits quite well.

He has to cut a bit off the front springs because the V8 is
lighter.
