In the late '60's, Ferrari Bubba invited about 10 of his best free loading 
buddies (I was one of em) to go to one of the first NASCAR Motor Trend 500 
road race.  Bubba used his 1954(?) Chevy station wagon.

Unfortunately 1 or 2 of the lug nut studs were broken off the rear wheels. 
Bubba, forever open to full disclosure pointed this out to the group before 
the trip.  To beat the horrendous rivaling Le Mans traffic, he used Carbon 
Canyon - a twisty short cut thru the hills.  At each turn - he announced to 
his passengers - woahhh Nelly - this is feeling loooose.

By the time we got to the track - several grown men were near tears and 
looking up alternate methods home.  End Note - Nothing happened, except 
Bubba's maniacal laugh was imbedded in my mind for ever.
