The reduction in ZDDP has been a problem for many.  I'd rather change a cat
more often than rebuild an engine.  I think there are a couple of racing
oils, or oils for off road use that still have proper levels of zddp.  I
believe harley still have qood levels in their oil, but it would take a lot
of those tiny, expensive bottles to fill a Ferrari.  I used a 10W40 diesel
oil in my old mercedes, which is a gasser engine.  It has good levels of
zddp I'm told, but don't have the numbers on hand.  You might want to check
with Ferrari, and see exactly what levels they recommend.  There are a few
polular oils out there that claim higher levels, but they still may fall
short of what the manufacture originally recommended.  Calling up the
various oil company's info lines, should get you the levels they have in
their various oils on offer.
