I agree. Limiting the displacement is one thing, but why the number of
cylinders? This where advances in engine design were made. Don't see how
everyone having 4 cyl engines helps the "Pinnacle of Technology" scenario?
Maybe we can just use old Formula Vee and call them F1? 4 cyl engines, sealed of course, fixed suspension design, - what's free for the designers? Hmm... the paint job, perhaps? They'll have a field day - probably develop some new technology - hitechnoemissionsfastdryingallcolorsparkleflashingsequinswithsponsor decalsincorporated paint jobs. Something we can all use. It'll be on the road Ferrari's before we know it....
