I always factor the price of a major in with every used (Italian) car I buy. Even if they said it was done, I don’t trust it was done right unless I see receipts from someone I know (or know of) and talk to the mechanic who did the job. And even then, I sometimes STILL have my mechanic do a major.

At times I think I prefer these situations more than turn key cars because then you sorta guarantee the quality of the car and can sleep well at night.

Most applicable IMO to 348s and 355s.
