A couple of years ago I had my 328 radiator cleaned. I had no overheating problems at all, it was just a "while you are there" kind of thing. It made quite a difference! Even when stopped in hot weather, it takes longer for the temperature to climb. It also runs cooler when driving.
On the other hand, last week I've sent two 348 radiators to be cleaned. They looked great, I just wanted to be sure they were ok. Guess what? One of them was in really bad condition and had to be recored.
I would do it. Why not? It's not expensive and I'll know what you have.
