How can you be sure that some people, at least, don't buy cars to use as
weapons?......drunk or sober.
Not all weapons are made specifically to kill people, nor do all people buy
weapons specifically to kill people, even though some may.

If I remember correctly, you live in Atlanta. Do you own a hand gun? A
semi-auto hand gun? Why? Could it be..........................
http://www.cityrating.com/crime-statistics/georgia/atlanta.html

Assault Rifles (selective triggers to full auto) are military weapons
specifically designed to kill people as efficiently as possible. They are
heavily regulated, difficult for law abiding citizens to obtain, and yet
somehow, the bad guys seem to have few problems obtaining them.

Assault Weapons, like civilianized AR-15s, are not designed specifically to
kill people, although they certainly can be used to do so. To say that they
are designed specifically to kill people would then say that a Remington
7400 (Deer rifle that doesn't look like a black rifle, but performs in the
same way) is also designed to kill people, since it is a clip fed,
semi-automatic, center-fire rifle, offered in military calibers....30.06 and
.308.

What I am saying is that it depends on the user, not the tool. The matter is
complex. Dr. Krauthammer talks about three variables: The weapon, the
shooter, and the culture..........
But the over-riding issue about gun control is that it is about government
expanding its control of, and its power over, its citizens.
After they seized power, what common action linked Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol
Pot, Idi Amin, Castro, and Qaddafi together.......one of the first executive
actions they took against their countrymen??????? Are we doomed not to learn
from history?????
