The thermostats are the same they are one the fire wall of the carAlong with the temp sensor that turns on the fan it's in the radiatorAll of that is from the old carThe 3 temp sensors on the engine 2 to the ECU and one the temp gauge in the cockpit are from the new engineThose are the only new sending units for this car and they have 16 k on themThe only thing that I can figure is that there is still some air in the systemBut usually the fans don't come on if there is air in the systemI am totally stumped on this oneWhen I shoot the upper radiator pipes with my infrared gun for temp readings it matches the gauge within 5 degreesGoing to do a block test to see if I am getting any leak a minor one thru the head gasket into the coolantThat's the only thing leftIn victory you deserve ChampagneIn defeat you need it!

All other ancillaries same as your old one? Have you tested the sending unit? Each thermostat? My 512 doesn’t over heat but it runs warmer than normal
As you know it has a relatively new engine 16 k
So what do you guys out there think it could be
Fans come on and off at the right time but the static temp is now 190 195 which is way warmer than it was before
No leaks
My guess is that one of the 2 thermostats is sticking ?
