Clyde notes rising engine temps in his 512 TR “Going to do a block test to see if I am getting any leak a minor one thru the head gasket into the coolant. That's the only thing left “ Certainly one of the last things – but advanced timing (is your car ‘chipped’?) can cause this as well as a lean mixture. You’ll need a separate set of instruments to check those. Also a weak O2 sensor not responding to too much O2 is another. A lean mixture caused by an air leak. Go around the intake joints with a propane torch – UNLIT of course. Any change in RPM – that’s an air leak. Of course, I could be wrong on these but my advice is free so you know what it’s worth.
