Yep - and as in the fellow who tells about the frozen viper picked up out of
the snow by a compassionate man and when the snake thaws out - the snake
bites his host to teach him a lesson that evil can't be tamed by kindness.
Or something like that.  Similar to Aesop's fable but with Aesop the nice
guy gets bit and dies.  Period.
