BK notes “Low voltage does funny things to electronics.” Kinky. OBD II tech note book state in many places when replacing an electrical component to be sure to match the number of TWISTS if two wires are involved. EGGZACTLY the number of twists as the original. And in many cases, such as grafting a $22.00 less expensive OTC Bosch O2 sensor made for your car to the wires instead of using the $237.57 Dear Leader dealership Bosch unit – as it may send spurious signals and is NOT recommended. Grafting wires? Even as to the type of flux if a wire is to be grafted. My my – give me my old time religion. Wonder when Clyde will be singing the OBD II Blues? Then on the other hand – most likely never ‘cause he’ll do an effective work around. Curse the factory engineers. Just my guess DOUG |
