We invented this tech long ago. Safer and far less complex than PWRs, which are 95% custom plumbing projects.

Absolutely that should be a part of it.  Small reactors within a network of medium sized reactors within a network of already existing large reactors.  The grid is long overdue for an upgrade and this should be part of that upgrade.  Add solar to that and you have a nice setup.
