We invented this tech long ago. Safer and far less complex than PWRs, which are 95% custom plumbing projects.

I agree with this too.  I am a small government kinda guy but this is one example of where I would be ok with this being government run, sort of.  Let the Navy and/or DOE run it.  Turn the plants into mini-military bases to protect them from attack.  The Navy is running nukes all over the place.

Absolutely that should be a part of it.  Small reactors within a network of medium sized reactors within a network of already existing large reactors.  The grid is long overdue for an upgrade and this should be part of that upgrade.  Add solar to that and you have a nice setup.
