I noticed my stock paper element gets clogged every 10,000-12,000 miles. I
can tell by the way the transmission shifts! (I drive 40k miles a year) It
worries me to put in a high flow element like rev hard's in the 740. Anyone
have an opinion? I know Jim C's opinion from year's past on the E36. Same
on the 740? Rev hard's choice of filtration media? How about using ITG's
element? (have one sitting in a box somewhere) Is it worth the power gain
over
filtration quality? Is exhaust enough?

Before upgrading the bass, make sure you eliminate the DSP (remember prior
posts?) I used a five channel Alpine. (free from a friend!)

Has anyone on this list tried the LED taillights off of ebay for the E38?

Power lusting for the V-12. Hate the V8.
(Jim, don't forget I'm first in line for the new software!!! LOL)

Upgraded the nav software myself to the latest version (it's a Mark III).

18" M-Parallel wheels and bigger tires

Whited out all the bulbs so no more egg-yolk.

Rev-high cold air intake (still waiting to be installed)

Magnaflow exhuast (still waiting to be installed)

Waiting for bulbs to go quad-tailights

After the exhaust and intake are in, gonna do a Conforti ECU reprog.

20% window tint will be done in Utah (nobody in WA will do it that dark).

More bass is in the way, as well as bluetooth phone and iPod integration.

Plus, BMW NA paid for the part to replace the instrument cluster with dead
pixels. Only cost $75 in labor.

Steve
